I am in pain

I am sad. As sad as it gets. It is like I lost somebody. Someone I loved has died. God forgive me. I have not felt like this for a long time. When I was a little boy, I used to cry in my bed till late hours and feel the sorrow. I used to think of my baby sister. I lost my sister. She was killed by the babysitter. We have never gotten over it. It is the heartbreak of the family. More than that, I feel like I am a little boy once again. I feel alone. I can not tell anybody about it. It is like a sudden storm over my soul. God help me. I assume you can never get over a heartbreak whether it is loss of your sister or your bf/gf or your innocence. One just pretends and hopes to share it with someone worth.

Mark the calendar

There are no place for misfits any more! At least in Turkey! Conservative movement in society got the taste of power too. ( AKA Lord of the Rings)

Today is a historic day! Mark the calender. The movement to change the clock in Turkey has over shined the historical gains made by secularism. I am not a nationalist or elitist. But it is unavoidable to see the truth. Some newspaper headlines, some developments last week:

A survey: Almost all women in the ghettos of Turkish cities wear head scarves: only Alawites resist conservatives!

22 dead in factory explosion in Istanbul: No union allowed at the workplace.

On the same day city's mayor was at a wedding of a famous TV personality!

We got indecent behaviors of Europe says our conservative prime minister!

AND I WOULD ASSUME SHOWING HAIR IS LESS INDECENT THAN LETTING PEOPLE DIE UNDER UNSAFE CONDITIONS IN FACTORIES IN YOUR DISTRICT, MR PRIME MINISTER, HYPOCRITE.

These people only believe in money and lies. They are the exact reflections of Republicans in USA and he is George Bush of Turkey PLUS HOUMEYNI.

In this country, poor people were left under constant pressure of government and military factions for decades. Unions were banned, the civil organizations were oppressed. The only things left free to attend, were religious ceremonies. The elites were so afraid of leftist tendencies so that they put the only course of meal: so called religious pits in front of the public.

Well done! After 30 years of the same shit, now we have head scarves written in constitution defining the way to cover heads for Muslim women. So long for secular way of life. So long for humanism.

It is sad sad day. So mark the calendar, we are the next victim of American policy of last 4 decades supporting religious conservatism against left and liberals in muslim countries; just like Iran, Afghanistan...
